How to get to Liberec?
Its location in the center of Europe makes Czechia a very easily accessible country.
By air - Prague
The main international airport of Czechia is the
Ruzyne Airport (code PRG). The airport is well connected with the Prague by public transport.
The easiest way to get to Liberec from Ruzyne is:
- Buy a 75 minutes public transport ticket: 26 CZK (or 30 if purchased from a bus driver), do not forget to validate the ticket (by stamping it using a machine) immediately uppon getting on the tram/bus or entering the compulsory ticket area of metro for the first time (the penalty for using an invalid ticket is 950 CZK).
- Take a bus line 100 to Metro line B, station Zlicin (end station). The journey takes about 20 minutes, the bus leaves the airport every 15 minutes. (detailed timetable)
- Take Metro B to station Cerny most (end station). It takes about 45 minutes, interval is about 5 minutes. (timetable)
- Take a coach to Liberec (timetable; there is unfortunately no english version.) However, coach is usually very crowded, so it may be a problem buying a ticketin the station. If you plan to travel by coach, you can contact the organizers to get a reservation for you. The reservation code will be sent to you. You will have to pay for the ticket on arriving to the conference. The reservation is a short code, that you will have to show on the entrance to the coach. You should be at the station at least 15 minutes before departure. The journey will take about one hour.

- It is possible to order extra conference bus from Prague-Airport to Liberec and back. If you welcome this service, please write to organizers. This service will be paid separately and will be organized at least for 5 attendees (one-way ticket is about 20,-EUR.)
By air - Dresden
There is also another connection, starting on Dresden airport. Using public transport you can get to Dresden-Neustadt railway station or Dresden Central station and continue to Liberec.

There are (at least) three taxi companies in Liberec, their prices are almost the same, ataround 30 CZK on entrance and 30 CZK per km.
